Re: car running lean...help (ek9 tubo)
yea your not getting enough fuel, what is your full set up that you are running and what size injectors are you using

When I went to go get my tune they told me I would be able to stick to a stock fuel pump and then half way through it he told me it wouldnt work so a 255lph pump and some 500cc+ injectors should be enough to supply fuel. remeber the small the injector the more duty cycle it has. I went with some 680cc precission's, and they work great with low duty cycle.

My old eg made 200 whp with the stock fuel setup.. For some reason on my last 2 ek's the fuel pump couldnt' keep up under load.. It'd jump up to 60psi and fall right back down to 40.. Make sure when you get the 255 you get the hp model.. Model number is 342.. 310's are going to be borderline on a b16t 440 or 550's would be a better bet.. Remember the larger you go the harder it will be to get a good idle.. Make sure you have a fresh fuel filter in it as well..

im having the same problem with my crx with b16 swap. i was told to first check fuel pressure, if it was good try running without vtec plugged in. i don't know how it would affect the motor going lean but i also had people tell me to check the cat, i guess it being clogged could cause it?? . try those things. are you throwing any codes??

a solid check engine light...put it in limp mode and count the cel it will blink which indicates a number a solid cel is it doesn't blink which means its a one. long light with 2 blinks means 12 and so on and so on

The cel makes a huge difference between open or closed loop... You should try and clear all the cel before hitting your tuner... which walbro do you have? THe standard will not keep up at the higher pressures. You need the HP model liek I stated earlier.. 310's is what I ran in my boosted d and it wasn't enough fuel for it.. Most NA b series builds will run 310's.. FI cars need more as a general rule of thumb.. I'm not familliar with E manage or blue box tuning so can't comment on that..
Someone stated earlier to check fuel pressure.. I think I would do that first in your situation.. Make sure the fuel pump cna keep up under boost above 4000 rpm..
