Car was running great before..now has 5 CEL's!! WTF
3 (MAP), 6(ECT), 10(IAT), 14(IACV), and 21(vtec spool solenoid valve) were the 5 codes that I just got when i turned on my car about 2 minutes ago. I had the car running perfect with no CEL's about 2 hours ago and now its cold and idles like ****! What in the hell happened!? I don't have the map sensor plugged in from the engine wiring harness..i have the sensor plugged in from my firewall map sensor spot that is directly wired to the ecu. The plug on the wiring harness I have isn't wired into the ecu harness..im guessing thats what is causing the CEL's, but it was running great before! I was so happy when I got it to run perfect..and no its ****. What is it about hondas that make you want to beat the living **** of it one second and never stop driving it the next? im baffled!

Re: Car was running great before..now has 5 CEL's!! WTF
del sol swapped d16z6. intake and exhaust. i reset the ecu and unhooked the battery. I drove it so it would warm up and now after i turned the car off and checked CEL's again, now only have IACV CEL. now that its warm it idles great. Waiting for it to cool down and im going to start it again. It honestly ran like it came from the factory. I unhooked the wiring harness to check if I have a wire for the MAP sensor earlier and plugged it back in, so i know that its not a plug that is loose...because it ran great before just like how it was. Are all of those codes i got, on the same plug to the ecu harness? idk what difference that would make since i made sure the plug was tight. it also doesn't explain the IACV CEL staying on by itself.
To reset the ecu, I unplugged the fuse in the engine bay and then put it back in and also took off both battery terminals. is there a different way of doing it?

Reset the ECU by removing the 7.5A hood Back Up fuse for 3 minutes or more. Then drive the car and pull the codes again if the CEL turns on.

i keep getting CEL 14, IACV. there has got to be a vacuum leak somewhere because when the car is warm it runs perfect, but when its cold, like ****. Also, i can take off the intake and put my finger over the top port in the TB and it idles perfect..take it off..idles like ****. Any idea of what that could be if it isn't a vacuum leak?

cleaned the IACV and FITV already. Thats why im confused. Im guessing i will have to try a vacuum test to see if I can find this leak. i mean, my finger gets sucked into the port when its cold, but not when its warm. ive checked my hoses, but haven't found anything and i have also replaced my TB gasket and Intake Manifold gasket..so no leaks there.

Re: Car was running great before..now has 5 CEL's!! WTF
yep..works fine..idled even worse. car on, my engine was cold, IACV plugged in..bouncing idle...unplugged..ran great. checked wiring for IACV - got voltage at the plug, but when i tried finding the yellow/black positive wire at the shock tower, couldn't find it. Does it change to a different color somewhere from the IACV to the shock tower? i checked the ECU, it says plug A, #9 is the IACV..green/white wire. traced it back to the shock tower..found a green/white wire, but it runs to the map sensor. Does it make any difference that I keep the ecu harness from the d15b7 motor for the now d16z6 motor and harness?
