car is pulling all differnt directions on the road.
so im new to the forum i just bought a 94 civic hatch with a mini me swap.
im having a few problems such as when i drive down the road(especially bad roads) every time i hit a bump or a dip in the road my car will turn by itself. if i hold the wheel with 2 hands i can feel it trying to pull right and left. its really bad on the highway its hard to keep the car straight. i thought i just needed an alignment but it will turn both ways it doesnt make sense. any help will be appreciated.
thanks

Didn't you test drive the car before you bought it in this condition? Tie rods. Bushings. Blown shocks. Could be a number of things. Get under the car and start inspecting.

If you hit any bad potholes like the ones in Jersey, than your frame could have a slight bend to it. Just like grumblemarc said, inspect everything. The last thing you want it to face a guardrail and lose.

First thing to check would be tire pressures. Hopefully the guy didn't pull a fast one on you and swapped out something good for something bad.
Next things to check:
Tie Rods
Wheel Bearings
struts/shocks
Bushings
Ball joints.
Otherwise it could actually be your alignment. You may have something completely tossed off.

I had the same problem on my 92 hatch pulled everywhere on back country roads an was scary sometimes. But mine was just the right inner ti rod/end that was bad on mine. These guys on this forum are very helpful an I have figured out alot just by readin posts on this forum.

Jack each wheel off the ground, support on jackstands and grasp each wheel at 9 and 3 and 12 and 6 and wiggle the wheel forcefully to check for play. Replace any worn parts.

Is the car lowered?
If the car has been lowered and an alignment was not done afterwards, your front wheels would be toed out. When the front wheels are toed out, the car will dart all over the place, and that issue is amplified when on rough roads.
Certainly check for worn suspension and steering parts, but make sure your front end is in alignment.

Check the inner and outer tie rods. Check the bushings, Ball joints, shocks, springs. The tie rods could just be adjusted wrong. make sure the car doesnt have a cheap set of springs or coilovers on it, because that will make the car handle really bad too.
