Car not starting when its hot out.
I keep having the same problem.
If it really hot out say 90ish I have a problem with my car not starting.
In the morning it runs fine and makes the hour or so trip to work fine.
But if I go grab lunch and when I get back in the car to start it up it won't. Usually a few retries and I'm up and running.
Now yesterday it was really hot and humid out. I made two quick stops and by the second stop my car wouldn't start at all. It tried to start up but died and then my electrical light came on. I had to pop the hood and open the doors to let things cool down. After that it started right up again.
I've been told that it’s my relay?
Not sure though.
Could it be anything else or anything in my stupid distributor?
Thanks

Advanced couldn't even find the Damn part, neither could Auto Zone. What I ended up doing, was just taking the Relay out everywhere I went, and keeping it inside with me.
This worked fine, but it started to take over 40minutes to start... So I finally broke down and went to Honda, $77.00.
For the hastle it was causing... That price is WELL worth it.
If you need pictures, I'll post them up.

Well I found one. I only tested it in like 70 degree weather and didn't really drive around with it so it hasn't gotten hot. If you want I'll drive around with it today and if it doesn't have problems I'll sell for $10 shipped?

I just called all the Auto parts and either don't know what it is or don't carry it. Napa was the only one that knew what it was and they have to order it.
Pics would be great if you can post them.

I might have to take you up on that. So 10 plus shipping?

I've been told this before. How the hell do you re solder it? The circuit board is mounted to the plastic piece and what not. You have to unsolder all the little contacts. Once you have the circuit board off what do you solder?
What do you re solder?
Also if I order one from the net, what is it listed under because I can't find it.
Or if anyone know its part number?

Alright, I took a few pictures for you.
It is located behind the lower dash cover (The panel that houses the fuses, behind the fuse cover) Three Phillips head screws, and it's off.
(My interior is diry as Hell at the moment, sorry )
Once that is removed, look behind the Hood Release lever... It's right there. 10mm Bolt, and release it off the bracket.
That is the one that Honda supplied me with. The original was a darker grey, and had a brown/redish plug. It should say something like "RZ0132". The new one Honda gave me says "RZ0159"... Works great though.
And here's the relay itself.
Hope that helps man
