Default car not running right....

Ok, so i painted my valve cover last night took it off and painted it red replaced all the gaskets on it because that was the main point of taking it off this morning i put it back on and used hondahond on each gasket and when i put it back on its not running right anymore, it idles really hard like its having a seizure of some sort and drives like ****, i figured i put the sparkplug wires in the wrong place but i doubt it im 99% sure they are correct. the car was running pretty great before this and now its just **** i could really use help. also its a 00 si.

the valve cover is supposed to be black. your car is having a seisure from the rice red paint. paint it back to black and everything will be OK.

make sure that all spark plug wires "pop" onto the spark plug

minimal but make sure you have that hose going from the top-left of the vc to the intake arm, if you still have it (this wont make a diff though)

Did you check to make absolutely sure that the plugs are on correctly?

Did you use hondabond on the whole gasket? From what I remember the FSM it only went on the corners.

Clean the surface where you ground is located on your valve cover. The new paint is most likely not allowing it to ground properly.

Did you try what I told you, considering that is most likely your problem? Go over your grounds you are getting a weak spark.

This is flawed logic. You should check the firing order.

It's obvious in your pictures that the two in the middle are swaped. Switch them and you should be good

Just follow the firing order that Ron gave you. Use your common sense.

My response to you on a different site was:

Think about it. You can either swap the wires at the distributor cap or VC. The end result will be the same.
