k well after i start my car and start to drive it off it wont go anywhere my foot will be to the floor....for a few seconds it wont do anything all the sudden it will burst into power...and keep doing these random surges for a good while...then after a bit of driving it wont do it anymore...and sometimes if im at a stoplight for a bit itl be in neutral and car will be at operating temp and everything and itl just die. dirty throttle body/ vac leak? or is there anything else it COULD be.

do you have the clutch in and not letting it out? LOL anyway im lost as to what your saying when you floor it and not move and as for it dying, do you have any CEL?

x2 on the CEL.

If so, start with that and go from there. Sounds like it could be a bunch of different things.

it could be a faulty TPS......post back if you figure out what it is.....good luck

ok check you clutch master cylinder is not bad you might have to replace it or check for fluid on your clutch that was happening to me then i change it an it ran fine

Pull the CEL codes from the ECU. Click here.

You have sooo many reasons for it to run like ****. No o2 sensor, trouble codes that you haven't pulled, the open header. You really need to get all that fixed. Don't guess as to why its runnin bad. The answers are all in front of you.

Sounds like the spark is getting cut out. I would check the distributor and go from there.
