car making noise, related to dizzy? please help!!

car making noise, related to dizzy? PLEASE help
first, i drive a 95 cx with a mini me swap.
recently, my distributer went out, as in i couldnt take my car over 3000 rmp, and when i did the car would bog down and rumple and stuff and it wouldnt accelerate at all. so after checking everything, spark plugs, fuel rails, etc. and when i replaced the dizzy and the boggind down thing went way... the problem was, i could only find a 96 ex dizzy. the 96 ex dizzy wouldnt mount correctly on my 95 cx, so we had to do a lil bit of grinding down of the mounting wholes to make the 96 dizzy fit. anyway, the guy who put my dizzy on, i dont think he put it in correctly, cuz now when i accerelerate hard, like if i push the gas pedal down atleast half way, there is a rattle noise, like a loud clicking noise coming from the engine area. if there is anyone with an idea of whats causing this noise please help me. is it the dizzy? is it not fit in right or soemthing?? please help.
