Car lurches and jolts during acceleration
I have a 98 Civic EX with a B18 that came pre installed. The car has quite a few problems, and I am trying my best to fix them myself.
Whenever I press the gas down or let up the entire car jolts. It doesn't matter if I am at a complete stop of if I'm going 55 its always does it.
I know for sure that the TB has some problems with sticking open and causing some strange idling, the TB cable is a little loose, and I have too big of injectors. But none of these seem like they would cause this.
I've been browsing around and I've noticed that this is a symptom of a bad TPS. Could this be what is causing it?

Any CEL codes?
Have you tried cleaning the throttle body? The throttle cable should have about 1/2" of slack.
What kind of shape are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor? Is the ignition timing set to spec?

Spray loadsa penetrating oil down your throtle cable and adjust it.
Check your accelerator pedal for sticking and spray that too, and your throttle cable down there
Get sumone to press the gas and watch all the engine mounts
After that its TB and those big injectors
