Default Car Killing

My car is a 99EX 5speed, hondata and 15G turbo. It started killing on me today a few times and took forever to get started again. When it did start it only went to about 2000rpms running extremely rough for about 30 seconds with the CEL on and then ran fine. A/C was on when it acted up, before when I went to run errands it didn't act up but I didn't have the A/C on. I changed the radiator fluid and oil today and it acted up after. The oil is fine and the coolant level is fine, I had drained the radiator and put in water wetter and filtered water like the directions said. And it didn't run hot like it usually does but has this stalling, running rough problem now. I am currently resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 15minutes. Is there another step in changing the coolant other than draining and replacing, running for 15minutes until no more bubbles come out? Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Ugh! You should have pulled the code from the ECU that was tripping the Check Engine light, before you reset it!

If it is still running bad after you reset the ECU, and the CEL comes on again, pull the code from the ECU as seen here.

You could also still have an air pocket trapped in your cooling system.

Damn didn't think of it, I was just too pissed to think straight. Does that article relate to Hondata s100 systems? I did turn my key to the run position to see if the redlight started blinking but it didn't. I assumed I checked it wrong, but didn't care and reset the ECU anyway. I get mad wayy too easy Thanks for the suggestions though.

You don't just turn your key to the on position you have to trip a harness on the ecu itself.

And BTW for future problems, reseting the ECU only takes about a minute or so, not 15.
