car keeps dying
well i live in the middle of illinois and it is cold as hell here this week. everymorning when i go to start my car if i barely touch the gas it will rev up and the rev down and not catch itself or something and die. i do have a lightened flywheel its the act prolite(i wanted the streetlite but they sent me the wrong one and i said screw it). i have heard stories of that happeneing but i dont know the truth. and it will do this to me every morning. or if im in reverse or 1st and im just starting to move if i come to a quick stop it will die to???
that and i just changed the thermostat in my car with a oem one and my car takes forever to warm up it barely gets to the half way mark. but when i drive it goes right back down to the mark above C.

Are you throwing any CEL'S? Something like this happened to me and it was my IAC. I just cleaned it out and works fine. The lightened flywheel will not cause this to answer your question.

You got a repair manual? Might want to check on these items:
-idle speed
-fuel filter clogged
-distributor components damp or damaged
-faulty emissions system
-faulty spark plug wires
-vacuum leak in fuel injection system, intake manifol, hoses
-and valve clearances.
I know it's a headache but best of luck to you.

Re: car keeps dying (Curry king)
well i just changed the IM and put ngk wires and new plugs in it so it is fine there. there is one distributor bolt that is broken could moisture be getting in through there??? could that cause the spark to mess up?
