Has anyone ever run into the problem with their civic where is just stops running while driving? I have a 98 civeic ex automatic, and it will sometimes just stop running while I am driving. What's weird is all of my dials on my dash board die, the air dies, but my radio stays on!!?? Any thoughts!!??

is it sometimes hard to start? Honda's are notorious for blowing out the ignition coil or igniter.

98-00 civics have a recall for their ingition coils , they go bad and will cause the problem you are having.....

Every once in a while it will be hard to start and will have to turn over a couple of times.

As far as I know. This is the only time it ever gives me trouble, and, I usually just have to turn it a couple of times and it will start right back up. It has never not immediately started again!

that is what happened to someone i know and it was the alterator.

mines dose the same **** sometimes like at a light when im slowly giving gas and enguaging the clutch pos would stall and wont start back up have to wait like 2 mins and it will start back up. man i hate this 70hp pos motor.

Do you think the wiring with an aftermarket radio system could have anything to do with it? WHen ever I turn it over to start it, it makes a really weird multiple clicking noise that sounds like it is coming out of the glove box?

See, I just pop mine into neutral and it will start right back up!
