its probably corroded for some reason, check your cap and make sure it isnt corroded as well and definitely replace your rotor, they are cheap

the brass piece is one piece pressed in if you are missing the middle it broke. rotor bad. white stuff probably a little calcium buildup like you get on your battery from water getting on it check the little rubber gasket that goes around your dist. and the square one around the wires.

i didn't know you could test the coil

i know the module

my secondary source in my coil was bad.

i'd replace the button first we sell them at advance and there usually dirt cheap.
