car has 130k. Replacing trailing arm bushing mandatory?
at that mileage, the trailing arm bushing is sure to be torn already, but it still drives okae. Is it mandatory for me to change it, or is it okae to keep driving around like this. tanks

Mine are torn to ****.. 190,xxx miles. For normal driving i dont really see it doing alot of damage but i would replace it.
Also depends on your state inspection. In Pa, they check for bushings and will fail you for worn out bushings.

190,000?!? That's nothing. I replaced a set (well swapped for Integra rears) that had over 700,000 km (400,000+ miles) on them. They were the WORST, but surprisingly the car rode okay.

if you are willing to replace that bushing, you might as well replace everything else and make the car feel like brand new. you need to remove a good portion of the rear suspension to take the arm out anyways. i replaced mine at 140 and the felt so tight afterwards.

is it really a safety issue to replace it. This car is just used for daily driving and no racing whatsoever. Also, does anybody know the part # for it from Honda. I know i can search, but I'm too lazy.
