Car got broken into last night.
Well took a look out side today and saw that half my dash was ripped apart, Some Mother*ucker, took the alpine deck and a ATM card, ironicly left the credit card and gas card and took a Maglight. Who ever did it was a hack, they got in by pulling the window forward, its got an alarm but, it either never went off or I didnt hear it. Here are some pics i took real quick.

EDIT: Would have posted this in a more relavant part of the board but i dont have access to the "general discussion" as I am a new member.

93egsi that kind of sounds like somebody that may have been familiar with the cars parked at your house. Sorry about the break in's they suck. Awhile ago somebody broke into my car and tried to steal the radio but they couldn't get it out and just messed up the flip down face. And they stole a book of cd's, Guess they didn't know it was the bible on cd they probably needed it!

I'd start looking right around your neighborhood. What are the odds someone just looked into your car and decided to "go for it"? Sounds like they know who you are or they know your car.
How did they pull the window forward???

Yes im going through insurance or at leat im going to try to.
If you stick a screwdriver into the window and pull it twards you, you can then move the screwdriver along the window bringing it on the outside of the rubber molding, after this its easy to pull twards you and you can get your whole hand in there, thats what the cop told me. Guess i just gave a how to break into a honda 101 course.

Driveway patrol might've prevented that if your car was close enough to the house.
Driveway patrol goes on sale for $14.95 at Fry's every once in awhile.

I can vouch for Driveway Patrol too, The best $20 investment you can make especially if you live in apartments. I heard about it from 'Vtec' a long time ago. Wonder what happened to that guy

They wouldn't be able to bypass driveway patrol. They can break the driveway patrol sensor but you'd still hear the chime. However, if you're a deep sleeper that takes forever to wake up, then even Driveway Patrol might not help you!

Damn bro that sucks. I had something similar happen to me...the only **** was that it happened in broad daylight. I left my car outside for about 10 mins while I took a shower and some ahole smashed in my passenger window and took my alpine and all my CDs. Fockers...I hate thieves with a passion.
