Car died while driving
I was driving my car to work and all of a sudden i felt power loss.. The car started slowing down. Pressing the gas did nothing car wasnt responding.. Pull over and tried to start that car and all it did was try to crank... I towed the car home and charged the battery since I thought that was the source of the problem.. even with the charged battery I still got nothing... my friends told me to check my timing.. and I found this
car has 176k I dont know how the previous owner maintenance the vehicle whats my options guys?

Looks like belt tensioner pulleys broke or spring came off. Pull the head to make sure no valves are bent! If not put a new basket on and line it back up

From the pic you can tell all that! Check your belt tensioner pulley to see if its broke that's why your belts lose and your cam gears are way the f off. You just trying to crank it has probably bent some valves pull the head just to make sure you don't f up the bottom end too. Rather a 40 dollar fix than a 1000$

Re: Car died while driving
It`s the cam timing that`s off, you probably bent a few valves too. If you are going to swap it anyways, check the distributor cap for any cracks just to be safe, if your car just lost power it could be something that simple.
