Default Car is dead please help.

about two weeks ago i had a check engine light and i fixed it by replacing the o2 sensor so i've been driving for about 2 weeks now just fine and yesturday as i was driving home from work the check engine went on again. These are the problems that came up after the check engine went on: 1)Speedometer does not work. 2)Idle went up to about 1.5-2 3) battery is drained. I went to my friends shop today and i replaced my battery and i went somewhere and my car just died out in the middle of the street.

Note:1)about 2 weeks ago i replaced my o2 sensor and the check engine light went off 2)a couple of days ago i replaced my ex cluster with a si cluster. when i replaced the si cluster i put the ctr carbon fiber bezel on also, but since the carbon fiber bezel doesn't have a hole for where you reset the maintenance light i just took off the button from the si cluster.

Someone please help! i want my baby running again, if you need more information let me know

Well, try the other cluster to see if they speedo works then if it doesnt take a look at the vss sensor. Get your alternator checked to, sounds like the regulators stuck or it just isnt putting out haha, anymore and see what happens.

i tried to put my ex cluster back in and still the same. and when i signaled left or right the rpm would jumped up and down. could the VSS be draining my battery? and i am going to replace my alternator tomorrow

VSS wont drain it, thats just your vehicle speed sensor, and might be why your speedo isnt working.
