Car cutting out at 5500+
I have a 92 EG 4 door with an B18B1 LS motor, p75 ECU, B16a2 transmission.
I didn't know what trans I had but apparently with it being 1 H G E M 1 then that's the Si trans right?
Anywho when I'm going, around 5500 it seems to cut out and lose power, but it doesn't bounce, like being at a rev limit.
Gear ratio calculations suggest in 3rd I should be at 7200rpm at 78mph, however around 80ish, I'm at 5500 on the tach and it starts cutting out.
I'm not familiar with how the trans should effect rpm so if it's throwing off the tach or if anyone can throw some suggests as to what may be wrong please chime in.
