Car was broken into last night
Some **** tried to steal my EG si last night. I went into it this morning and I'm not able to start the car. It seems like they tried their hardest to pry apart the ignition column but they were unsuccessful. Any idea on what might be wrong? The clock doesn't turn on or anything like that so I'm guessing that it isn't getting power at all. Do I have to replace the entire ignition column?

first...check all your power connections (battery cables, ground, 12v wires)...they probably cut power everywhere before they even opened your door...

check the lines in your steering column and also check under the car. they probably cut something in a attempt to disable an alarm if you have one on your car.
