car broke down & will not start

Default car broke down & will not start

I lit my friend drive my car once and it brakes. This is the problem the engin will turn over but is not getting spark or purging gas. I checked all the relays and all fuses. I checked to see if its gitting power from the ignition and is. Im clueless. help please

Check the ignitor in the distributor.

Sheesh.. Why does everyone always say to check the distributor.?.. You said that the distributor is getting power. And I believe you. But here's another question.. How much power is it getting.?... It needs at least 9.6volts.. And if it's not getting 9.6 volts.. Your battery either has a low charge or is in the process of sulfation.. Meaning it's not putting out enough amperage to turn the starter.. Have a shop do a load test on the battery and load it to 130amps. If the battery can put that out, your battery is still ok. Hope that helps a bit.. Let me know how it goes..
