car bogging at 1500??? help please!
Ok first off its a jdm d15b in a 95 civic dx. The problem i am having is that the car would bog kind of and jerk at 1500. This usually happens when starting off in first gear and not riding the clutch. the car sometimes bogs a little when cruising but its getting better. I recently bought this motor from a shop and i'm sure its been sitting for a while. i changed the fuel filter, new spark plugs, and i'm using fuel injector cleaner in this tank of gas (which actualy helped...car was bogging from 1000-3000 and under load before i added the cleaner).
im out of clues...i'm thinking it may be timing? Anyone have input on this?

try checking your fuel filter...if not..try checking the way the distributor is set [nomal, advance, retard]...if not that...try check to see its one of your injectors, might be sputtering out and fireing wrong..or it's your timing belt..or idle air control valve
