Cant select any gears?!
I was driving home earlier and started slowing down as i came off the highway, only to find that i couldnt select 4th, or any other gear for that matter. by the time i had rolled to a stop i just about managed to select 2nd and it got me home, but every gearchange is like russian roulette now. its as if the clutch isnt fully disengaging but i havent had any problems with anything to do with the transmission until now, seems weird that this has happened so quickly?

id definitely start by putting new fluid in, im assuming the clutch is probably never been changed so that could be a possibility. does it grind alot or at all?

Re:
It sounds like a clutch master or slave cylinder went out so the clutch isn't full disengaging. Check your clutch fluid reservoir to see if it's low and then check each respective cylinder for leaks.
You can get away with no clutch in shifting to gears 2-5 if your timing is good.
