i own a 94 civic ex with a b16 but fails nox really bad....any suggestions ....

mods i have are:
aem cold air intake
skunk 2 intake manifold
dc 4-1 headers
stock p30 ecu (94del sol b16a3)
using 91 octane
have done a fuel service
changed plugs wires cap & rotor....

wanted 2 run stock ls exhaust manifold and oem cat....but dont know if it will help or work....


have also tryed stock air box and stock intake manifold same readings .....any help really appreciated need 2 register my car.....

I got your email and emailed you back, theres more questions in that and you could email me again if its easier for you.

By fuel service what exactly do you mean? Because your problem looks very much fuel related (running really lean for a smog test). I would check to make sure your fuel filter isnt clogged or your hard lines are not corroded. Another thing if you can get a fuel pressure reading. Make sure your getting enough pressure to the rail (42psi) because this could be a dying fuel pump.

Does the car act funny when you drive?

car runns very strong......if i get on it.. it will respond....and that fuel service i did was a type of sea foam...

ok so i went this morning for a pre test ...and it passed quick and easy what i did was put stock air filter and i borrowed a stock exhaust manifold and a good used cat...i set my timing at 14 deg...and pass that sniffer test .now i just gotta make an appoimnment to tha reff station and im on my way to getting my coupe b.a.r legal
