Can't pass 3rpms??
Hey guys I have a problem with my 97 civic ex coupe. When my car reaches 3rpms, it just completely stops and I am unable to gas the car anymore. For some reason when it goes to 3rpms it just completely stalls sometimes or even goes back to 0-1 and I am able to get it going again... Any ideas what the problem may be? and no, the power does not turn off...

hmm seems like I have trouble starting up. It seems like it has something to do with the fuel since when i gas it.. it sorta doesn't do anything but just dies.. I'm thinking fuel injectors... ;/

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by dohcdelsol93 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">what cel's are you getting. Sound like your car is in limp mode</TD></TR></TABLE>
That's what I first thought, but that would throw a steady CEL and his rpms shouldn't drop.

You my friend, are in limp mode. In case you don't know, its a setting your computer goes into when something is tripped (CEL). It dumps insane amounts of fuel and limits your revs.
