I can't seem to get the hood to shut on it. It'll latch but not shut all the way. I tired loosening all the bolts and shuting thinking maybe it was out of alignment but no go. I've searched on here and haven't found anything of real use aside from pushing the latch cable towards the drivers side which didn't do a thing. Any help?

Nope, the hood shut fine up until a couple of days ago when I opened it to clean something that were no where near close to the latch. Let her down easy to, heard it latch and just pushed down.

Bump! I need to fix this tonight if at all possible. I took off the latch and checked it out and everything looked fine, the cable was in the right place and everything. Can't figure this out for the life of me.

Its probably your radiator support. This happened to me before. Friend of mine jacked it up right under there and bent it. I just fixed it with a rubber mallett.

I have that problem with my Si, I just push in the hood release cable handle back in. Not sure if you're having the same problem. Could be a slack problem with the cable?

There's no way that it could be the rad support. I was working on it, shut the hood. Came back out and it wouldn't shut. The car didn't move an inch. I don't slam the hood or anything. When I pull the release I can hear it moving and see it. The hood just won't shut. I'm realllyyy stumped on it.

Agreed, sounds like a sticky latch. My EJ8 does it and a few of my past Integras have had this problem as well. Stick your finger down the side of the latch and push the cable back outward.
