I know its retarded but I cant find the service connector I need to jump to check CEL's. I looked all around the glove box area and all I find is that GREEN plug. I tried jumping diff. combos of it's 5 wires but nothing makes the CEL flash.

Im retarded .... or blind ....

Ok heres where mine was pull off the passenger side kick panel and a few inches away from the computer there should be a little greenish blue plug with a cap on it. Pull the cap off the plug and jump it turn the ignition on and there you go.

Cool, didnt realize the blue plug comes out of the green rubber thing!

Cept now I have no CELs and no VTEC

You don't have a CEL AND you don't have VTEC? are you sure you don't have VTEC? VTEC may not be engaging if the engine is too cold.

wait wait im confused....

you jump the 2 wire connector that was in the green thing and get no codes

then you drive it and have no vtec

did you leave the jumper in the connector and go drive??

might help if you tell us what car and motor combo it is
