Default cant figure out rad fan plug.. 92 civic

Okay guys, I feel like a noob asking this, I've searched for the answer but can't find it..

I am attempting to jump my radiator fan to tst if its still good for someone who wants to buy my civic (think my thermstat is stuck closed, it won't turn on, coolant is building pressure), but I can't figure out how to unplug the plug for it! I also don't know how to move the overflow resorvoir to get better access to see the thing.

It's 18*F out right now lol normally I wouldn't give up so easily but I dont wanna break anything prying with a screwdriver.. I can't feel my fingers guys! (And maybe ladies? Lol). Thanks everyone..

Simplest way to test your fan.

There's a sensor on your thermostat housing. Unplug that sensor, then take a staple or paper clip and jump the connection. Turn the key on and the fan should come on.
