Cannot decide on 15" or 16" Circuit 8s
As much as performance matters, looks matter too. I want it to be balanced. I know the 16" weighs more, but the 15"s do look small. If any of you could post 15" and 16" circuit 8 pictures to give me an idea. I will be using my eh-2 for daily drive/ drag stip/ first time autox. I wish to mount them on falken azenis... at $69 a tire SHIPPED from discount tire, i cant beat that..

15`s will be lighter and you`ll always have a better choice of tires. I rock 16`s on the street and use 15`s for the track though.

Bigger brakes? 16's
Stock brakes? 15's (tires are a lot cheaper)

Do 16" look too big though(for an EG)? I want to see some pictures, i searched, none of them said wheels size, i PMed them, no luck.

with 15's you'll have an array of tires to your choosing all at a reasonable price...also, you'll be able to utilize the fastbrakes kit 11.2/11.5 non willwood for maximum stopping power... really you dont need the four pot caliper for racing/auto-x...trust me 11.2/11.5 will stop and give you $0.09 back.

i am getting 15s becuase they are cheaper right off the bat, weigh less, tires are cheaper, and they look better IMO.

if you cannot decide between 15" and 16" wheels, try and decide which 15" or 16" TIRE you will buy.
that is one major reason I ride on 15" circuit 8's.... because S-02, AO32R, V700, Azenis, etc. are all readily available, fit perfectly and neither are available in a good fitment on 16" wheels for Civics. The 16" choice for a tire is a Parada Spec2 or a Pirelli.

IMO, how much weight can you possibly add by getting 16's. If you feel like it's a little slower, eat less and go on a diet. That'll balance the weight problem out. You're paying money for 15's already, might as well go for the kill and get 16's.
Good Luck! and keep us posted

I'm getting 15" bronze c8's tomorrow(finally!) i think the 16" spokes look too long. But they still look really nice on a black hatch. Whatever you choose, its will still look good.

Theres a 4lb difference b/w the 15" and 16" c8's. If you wanna maintain your racing ability and go with some show, then 16's, thats what I got. If you like to auto-x alot or watever then go 15. If you do get the 16's and you gel like goin to the strip, make sure to get a pair of 15's or 14's so you can be good to go.

i'd go with the 15" C8's....better price for the rims and tires. why do you want 16" rims anyway? what kind of driving will you be doing with your hatch?

Re: Cannot decide on 15" or 16" Circuit 8s (drvfast)
i have 16's on my EK, wanted bronze but they screwed up and got me gunmetal so oh well. My ek's black btw. Umm feels a whole lot better than stock with 205/45/16 Par. Spec2s. Just need to change my springs cuz H&R OE aren't enough to look good. With the bigger size rims, the car tends to raise a little more too. I don't really like 15s for aftermarket, if I were to get 15s they'd probably have to be stock SIs. Nothing else. IMO. Good luck with choice selection.

I would take 15's all day long
I completely agree with Owen also...great tire choices at affordable prices.
The brakes you can fit under a 15 are more than sufficient for a civic too.
The fastbrakes 11 inch fit under my Kosei's and Konig heliums.

Re: Cannot decide on 15" or 16" Circuit 8s (BrewerHatch)
nice pic brewer.. i think it shows that there isnt much difference in the two. i think 16's look a little better if your dropped at all. but i would go with 15's just to save some money. you figure you will go threw a few sets of tires. each time you will save money on new ones.
but make sure ur big brake kit will fit if you plan to get it
