Canister control valve help...
If anyone could please help me out....
I have a 98 Civic EX. Its been sitting for about a year and the battery died. I had to take it to a smog test only place and it failed the test. I pluged in a OBD2 Diagnostics tool and it reads that the Evap monitor is not complete. I have changed all the hoses and reset my PMC. I got a new battery since someone had told me the PMC probably lost memory from it being dead for so long. I ranned the vehicle after i replaced the hoses and every test was completed. i tried testing it again today and this time is telling me the cat sys is incomplete, oxygen monitor is incoplete and evap monitor is incomplete. There are no error codes showing though.Does anyone know why this is happening or how I could fix this problem?
Please, any suggestions are greatly apreciated.

Re: Canister control valve help...
How would i go about doing that?
I tought you could reset it by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and then reconnecting. I tried this several times. There was one occasion when I replaced one of the hoses and the evap sensor came alive. i don't know if there is something else that I'm missing. Thank you once again.

Re: Canister control valve help...
I ranned the car for about 30 miles and all the other sensor are now good. I hooked up the scanner and it shows that the Evap monitor check is still not complete. I don't know if I still need to do anything elses.
