Default Canadian tranny?

Is the Canadian SIR tranny any different than the USDM SI tranny. And shouldn't it fit on a 1st gen b16 without any problems?

if by SiR you mean the b16a2 then yes, its the same as the 99+ civic SI transmission
and yes, it should bolt up to a first gen b16

just make sure you dont get a 92-95 sir transmission.
big diffrence.
