canadian EG same as USDM EG ?
I am trying to match the wiring harness on my cdm model... but it doesn't sync up (colors) with the usdm haynes manual I have...
is this normal ??

You're sharp... you should be a mod...
Maybe you could put some energy into answering questions and less into wasting bandwidth.... give it a try.
BTW... I solved the problem.... the wiring coloring IS different from what I can tell... got my afc functioning fine.

I know the colors on my japanese harness were different
from my u.s. harness. Most of it plugs up the same. What
are you trying to do anyways?
