Can you Run an A6 si(non Vtec) head on a D15b8 cx
I have a 92 cx d15b8 and i want to run a 89si A6 head. I have the A6 head on the d15b8, but i think the valves are hitting the pistons? However, right now the time is not correct, which could lead to the valves hitting?. Anyone now if it works?
Thanks to anyone with a helpful response

your welcome ! lol
and to make it clearer.
SDT is worried the head doenst work with the block . which i told him it would
i was turning the cams to TDC but hit the valves to the piston. i believe. the cams at TDC. but the block is not. #2 and #3 pistons are all teh way up right now and i believe the valves are tapping ( we havent gotten to puttin on the timing belt etcc)

some of the earlier B8's only had valve reliefs for 8 valves. . .dont know how close the valves get to the pistons, but that may be why. . .
