Default can you fit a EX exhaust onto a dx?

does it work or no?

yes it will work. if its a 96 up dx u will want to use the ex exhaust manifold and cat as well.

Or, you will have to have a pipe flanged to fit where a cat would go on an EX. My friend did that, no problems That way, you can keep the DX manifold.

he posted it for me, im running a greddy 15g kit on my 97 dx, and since the cat converter is on the dx exhaust manifold im running no cat...im looking for ways instead of putting my cat conv. back on and disabling the turbo, pluggin the oil pan etc.. for when it goes for inspection to get a cat converter on there(one of those high flow ones)

i have a greddy evo catback..i think my one option is to have them cut the downpipe and weld in a flange so i can bolt the cat converter right there? right?

yea you are gonna need some cutting and weldin. should cost that much to cut and reweld the flange. make sure you get the cat to and have them measure it right.
