Can you.....
is it possible to re-arrange the wires on the back of the ecu plugs so you can install a OBD2A ECU into a car with a OBD2B wiring harness? I know there will be like 47 wires I have to move around but the jumper harnesses are like $140. Has ANYONE done this before. BTW I've been trying to fidure this out for the past 4 hours and these are the only semi-helpful links I've found....

I get jumper harnesses for customers for 59 bucks. Who quoted you 140?
Anyway no its to much work to cut and change everything. Also you have that green plug that needs to be connected and ****, just get a harness.

id imagine with some patience and time you could do it; but as luserkid said, you should be able to buy them for fairly cheap now. Heck, OBBII to I harnesses are under a $100 if you look around.

I would think so, the only real difference is the number of plugs and the arrangement of some of the wires.

Re: Can you..... (Vero)
Just to update WE DID IT. I rearranged every pin and switched from using the A-B-C plugs to using the A-C-D. It works perfectly with no CEL or anything. Took about 3hrs.
