can u use obd2 Distributor with obd1 ecu?

can u use obd2 Distributor with obd1 ecu?
ok will just getting into wiring the car i have a obd2 wiring, and i am swapping in a obd1 engine i would like to use a obd2 Distributor and Alternator with a obd1 ecu? so that i can leave the wiring the same and not cut it all so i have these parts in the shop from the accord that me gf crashed last year.
