Can someone tell me what this is?
Hey everyone, I am doing a floor harness swap from an 00 Si to a 96 DX hatch, so I have the power doors ect ect. On the Si under my fuel pump cover there is 3 plugs and on the dx there are 2, so could someone tell me what this plug is and what it does, do I need it on the swap? Thanks

The Si is bone stock and I pulled the cover and it had this plug there with another plug from the main harness pluging into it. It runs down around the gas tank and then disapers above it, I dont really want to pull the gas tank to figure it out, so any help is appriciated.

I do remember under the car there is some purge solenoid for something smog related on 96-00. That might be what your dealing with. Its around the area under the car with the gas tube goes. I know this isnt much help but its an idea of where to look. Good luck.

Some 92-95 had it (i believe the VX had it) But even then thats what the bottom plug is for (the gray plug that OP isnt holding). That one controls the high/low level that you see on your gauge.
