i tried that link above and can't seem to get it right. i know you will need to be registered on carfax inorder to do so, but how would you be permitted to do so? do you have to be a certified dealer, etc.?
i'm having bad feelings about the hatch i bought a year ago. the chassis vin # is different from the motor vin #. when i bought this car, the motor was degreased looking real clean. not too long ago did i find this out. it's all too late.
i would want to know the history on both these vin's. surprisingly i found a smoking pipe behind the passenger seat, lols. this prompted me to checking these vin's. i was told by the dealer that i'm the 2nd owner of this particular vehicle, and i never believe them. if you could assist me in solving this issue, it'll be a great help, and not to worry, i'll always help a fellow h-t member.
