Can someone Carfax this for me?

It is a 1995 Civic LX 4 door
5 speed.
76,xxx miles

I plan on buying this from a used car lot. This lot has a reputation of fixing up cars that have been wrecked and selling them for a little cheaper that what they are valued at.
They are asking $5995, is that a good price?
The car is VERY clean, body is clean, no dents, a couple of very very small dings (rock dings?) on body. Interior is very clean, no rips, tears or cigarette burns, no broken plastic pieces.
Fully loaded, pwr windows, locks, cruise, a/c, am/fm tape (stock honda deck)
no sunroof, but i dont want one anyway.
The engine is a d15b7, runs like a champ, has some pep for being totally stock, drives nice too.
Is it worth it? I can probably talk them down cuz the tire shop I work at does alot of business with them.

6k for an EG 4 door i dunno about that one.
i know u can get them for way way cheaper out here. something like 2-3K seriously

First, if the front or rear bumper have been painted all one color and doesnt have the black on the bottom where a lip would go the it might a been in a fender bender.

6000 is a little too much. maybe 4500 sounds a little better.

i just bought my 96' DX Hatchback for 4,500.00 granted it had twice as many miles as the car you're looking at but what i'm getting at is mine's a 6th Gen, and your looking at a 5th Gen for money, you definitly should talk him down or look here on the Vehicles for Sale Threads, they have excellent deals here! this is where i've got my 96' and oh its like Mint this car.... even w/ 160k its like Brand New no lie.... look around!

When I entered that VIN, carfax said it was incorrect, but suggested replacing the tenth digit (9) with an (s)...that brought up a Civic LX in Fairbanks and it came out clean. You might want to double check the VIN.

My bad the tenth digit was a "S" not a 9. I was in a hurry when i wrote it down, so it came out clean. what did it list for the car, anything at all? can you email me what you found.

no, i meant it has everything but a sunroof, then i listed what it had, sorry for the confusion.
if i do buy it i plan on swapping out the motor when i get to cali.
i am thinking about a b18c1 gsr motor with basic bolt ons and maybe some cams,
i want to keep it reliable and use it as a daily driver.

don't buy it man...you can you a way better deal. Bought my eg for 1500 w/ d15b7 runs like a champ too untill i overrev it
