Can someone ID this tranny?
I am not sure what model civic (hx/dx/lx/cx?) it came out of.. all I know is that it came off of a d16y7 and it's a 5speed
the markings are:
E5F
P4A
S40-1601804
Thanks in advance!

Nope. I pulled it off of a d16y7 myself.
Just trying to figure out what car it came from so I can figure out gears and what not.

Guess I am just way off, but if it is the OEM mated tranny to the d16y7, then the gearing is as follows:
1st: 3.25
2nd: 1.761
3rd: 1.172
4th: 0.852
5th: 0.702
Reverse: 0
Final Drive: 3.888

Post the VIN. The vehicle it came from can be determined from the VIN plate on the tranny.
