can someone explain how the perch on koni yellow's work
is it a lil thing u install on the bottom of the shock so it raises it.. or lowers it?? or does it actually the shock itself that is used to lower or make yr car higher?? reason i ask is if it is the shock that is doing the difference, wouldnt the ride quality be affected??

like for example.. if you set it on the top perch.. wouldnt that stress the shock more.. since the shaft has to sit more higher in order for the car to be raised??

The perches are for height adjustment. Too low = from personal experience. When I first got them, I put them on lowest setting and ended up having to raise it back up to where it was set out of the box. The ride comfort is actually better this way because when its too low, there's not enough air space to absorb bumps.
