Can somebody help me with my EG H22A problem???
Well I just got my car running about a week ago, and I drove it for just under 600 miles. I parked the car temporarily (because my alignment is horrible and it needs to be fixed with some new lower LCA's before I drive it again), but I still make sure I start it every morning just so that it can run.
Anyways, I started it up yesterday morning and let it run for about five minutes, and there weren't any problems. I got home later on in the afternoon from school, and I was going to take her out for a quick spin just for ***** and giggles.
I started her up, and then went inside my house to give my buddy a call. When I came back outside, there was fuel all over the ground. I immediately shut off the car, and backed away from it because I heard fuel sizzling on the header. I thought she was going to for a second there
Well, I popped the hood, and the leak seemed to be coming around from the fuel filter. There was a pool of fuel on top of the fuel filter, so I figured that it has to be coming from somewhere around there (especially since the fuel filter is pretty much sitting at the highest point in the engine bay).
Also, I couldn't seem to find any loose hoses or bolts. Does this sound like something major might have broken or that something might've just came loose? I am thinking that it is the latter since I drove it for 600 miles with no problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated

i had a problem like that with my h22 swap, turns out all i need was a washer on where the fuel line connects to the filter.

Re: (92hybridAccord)
Well, I found it. The hose that runs from the filter to the rail has a small stress hole in it, so if I need to replace it, which one do I get...one from a 1992 Civic or one from a 2000 Prelude?

Most likely it's the civic fuel equipment. The only modifying that was done on my swap for fuel lines was the line coming from the fuel filter to the fuel pressur regulator. My friend used a coupler and bought some extra hose to lengthen it.

Well I just got a hold of my friend and he said the fuel line is from a Civic. Hopefully it won't cost me that much money because I'm flat broke. Thanks to everybody for all of the help! This thread can die now
