Can Some1 ID my Trust muff?
Hey guys, I bought a used Trust Axleback this past summer on good ol' EBay, but can't figure out what model exhaust it is (if there is one):
Right when I got it in the mail:
another angle:
and after I painted the front of it:
I'm guessing its pretty much the same as the GRreddy SP..but not sure....thanx.

How about you let him figure out for sure if it is fake or not. May be some old old school exhaust from Greddy/Trust. No need to act prematurely.

If it was a TRUST muffler it would have Trust embossed on the bottom, just like my "GReddy SP." (TRUST BL)
That is a generic muffler. Have you ever seen ANYTHING from GReddy/TRUST with a tip like that?

Re: Can Some1 ID my Trust muff? (SkyeC)
oh, btw, i paid 60 for it....shipped...boo-ya...
i first thought it could be the exact same thing as the SP1, since SP1's came with a seperate tip...so maybe mine is just the muff with the exhaust tip...
anywho..it is one of the nicest sounding muffs i've ever encountered (and i'm not saying that cuz its mine)...the only word to describe it is "sporty"...so so low...its the lowest frequency at 2500 rpm..and thats cool, since thats when i shift gears (VX)...
buy anyway...no other guesses?? thanx, yos!

Well, it must be a SP, then.
That's the only thing they sell that looks like that. Musta hacked the tip off. And they don't sell axle-backs, just cat-backs; so whoever you bought it from kept the rest of it or it got damaged via road rash or something.

Here's a real one (one our race hatchback... gotta still take if off and get rid of it )
The muffler itself looks like a Greddy muffler, but that is definetely an aftermarket tip (or piece of piping welded onto the muffler). BTW, the other picture of the "Greddy SP" rear muffler section with Greddy stickers looks like a fake one... the tip is too long, but whatever suites your style.

They're welded.

i have an SP-1 muffler and i know they are welded on. Your can doesn't really look 100% like an sp can either. could be an sp can from another car and customed on.
Overall..who cares..you got a decent deal and it works right.
