Can obd2a be compatible with z6 head cam

Can obd2a be compatible with z6 head cam
I know its possible to put a z6 head on a y7 block with nonvtec tranny but if its a y8 tranny the cam has to be a y8 cam to match the obd2a, am i correct? Or can i just put the z6 head with the obd2a? I would have bought the conversion harness but the problem is i am running an automatic and there is no harness for that.

OBD - On Board Diagnostics
It doesn't care about mix n match parts technically, it cares that it has appropriate functional sensors in place and are all connected.
