Can OBD1 Honda engine wiring harnesses be swapped? For example....
on a '93 Civic Hatch CX, can you swap in the '95 GSR engine wiring harness? Will the wiring-pins line up?
I know that the connectors may plug-in, but are the pins lined up correctly? (kind of hard to explain, but I hope you know what I'm trying to describe)
The GSR wiring harness has other inputs that are not available on the Civic CX PCM connector, so these additional inputs will have to be wired in.
As the years progressed, did Honda change the colors of their wiring harnesses? Let's say the wires did change colors, but do they still go to the same components?
Other than this, what are other potential problems?
