Default Can my tire be making a squishing noise?

This is a random question, but I notice when it's really quiet I can hear a noise that occurs proportional to the speed of my car (1996 Civic CX). I can't really describe it other than that it is a faint squishing sound almost like what you would hear if you ripped a sponge or something, lol. I think it is only the left front tire but I am not quite 100% sure.

My tires are old 13 inchers and probaly need replacing because they seem old despite having adequate tread, could it be the tire? Or would it be something like a wheel bearing or something? What sound would that make?
I can't notice it in traffic, only if it is quiet on a side street.

I know this question is stupid because I can't explain it well and I think it is just a small thing but please don't flame me for it.

If the tires are old I would replace them anyway. See if that fixes the problem.

Condensation inside the wheel or maybe fix a flat. Lots of people use it then forget about it because its not leaking anymore.

OK, cool.
Does anyone think it could be something other than the tire? What would it sound like if it was the bearings?
Thanks.
