ok this question may sound dumb, but my tps sensor on my b16 intake its broken, i also have a d16y8 intake with tps, is it possible to use the d16 tps on my b16 tb ?

i dont think the d16 tps can be unbolted....correct me if im wrong

none of the tps were designed to be unbolted but ive been reading that people can cut a slit on the bolt head and use a flat head screw driver to remove them, but youll have to recalibrate after install of new one

i have the omni power tps i snapped the old one of the treaded bolts in so i wud never have to deal with not bieng able to take it off

but how do you calibrate a tps ?

there is write up dont remember off the top of head but basically you need a multimeter and measure the voltage of signal wire (dont remember which color) at closed throttle volts should be i think .5 and at wot volts should be 4.5 there is screw on tps for adjusting volts.

All TPS sensors can be easily removed. On jdm motors, they are a phillips screw, on a usdm looks like a rivit, but it is not! Simply dremal a notch in it, and it will screw right out!

it will be easier to use your d-series tb until you can find a complete b-series one. it may sound dumb, but i had to do it for a few days because i snapped the tps on the b16 going in. you wont have the top end power out of a matching tb, but it WILL work.

All you had to do was swap the tps from the d series TB the the B

too much work for my limited knowledge
it will work fine, im actually running a obd1 ls tb on my b16 and i noticed a huge gain in topend vs the measly d series

i think the tps sensor for 88-00 honda/acura are all the same. but i could be wrong!
