Can I use an intake from a Civic EX and put it onto a Civic LX?
My buddy has a Civic LX, this car has some odd *** intake design where it goes sideways and up...
I have a Civic EX, he wants my intake, would my intake be able to fit onto his car?
If this helps I am currently using a AEM short ram intake...but I think I will be upgrading this to the following:
Stock SI air intake tube (or maybe use the SOHC stock intake)
and Injen cold air extension with K&N filter

depends on what year lx, if its the 96-00 then no it will not work but if its 92-95 then yes it will

yeah what he said, if it is a 96-00, then he would have to get a 96-00 ex intake manifold. Alot of the 96-00 dx,lx guys do this to get a little more power for little money.

My car is a 97 Civic EX and his car is a 97 LX...

your intake manifold points the throttle body towards the passenger side, the dx/lx points the throttle body straight up so there is no way for it to work on your car
