I just got into cars not long ago, but doesnt the cd player have one of those "if you take this bitch out it aint gonna work deals?"
(security stuff or w/e, so your cd player doesnt get stolen)

You'll need the security code yes. You'll also need the adapter harness that goes into the deck and one that goes into your car.
The one for the car is from metra, part number 70-1720
the one for the radio (also from metra) is 71-1721
