Default Can I turbo my 94 civic coupe for CHEAP and keep the A/C?

Its a DX, no power steering.

This is my daily driver, so i'd like to keep fuel economy high and i'd be perfectly happy with like 180whp

I'd like to keep the A/C and i'd like to keep my budget around $700 for parts (not including software/tune).

I'd like to know my options.

Thanks!

wow.
just wow.
if you want to turbo you WILL need to do research.
do hav a reliable turboed car, you will spend ATLEAST $1,200 if you put the turbo together yourself.

since you have a DX(d15b7), your car isnt that low of compression for turboed. now if you have a d16y8 swap then you can just piece together a kit and turbo it like that since it has low compression.

you will need to buy:
low compression pistons(vitara), eagle rods(since i KNOW you will do more than 180whp), ARP bolts and head studs, bigger injectors, walbro 225(?) fuel pump and more. that was just the stuff i pulled out of the top of my head that you must do to your car.
then the turbo parts itself.

the only good advice any1 can give you since your apparently new to turbo is:
read, read some more and keep on reading. once you feel like you are going to die cuz all your doing is reading then read some more. turbo is not something you can just do with out knowing specs about it, what is needed, what it will do to your engine, etc.

but if you REALLY want to turbo so badly then buy and ebay turbo kit and run your car stock

EDIT: by the way, this should be in the FORCED INDUCTION FORUM.
go there. you will get more advice. but you might also get flammed. depends how you ask
