As for the headlights .... that's your decision to make. I personally hate them .... but whatever, it's your car not mine.
However, I will say this --
If you have to ask about what's cool ... I'm willing to bet you haven't been the "killa" of any V8's. Ever.

I guess turbochargers dont exist in kansas?
V8s are nice, don't get me wrong....but people act like they are the solution to all their problems.

Re: (cln92eg)
actually ive beat about 6 v8's in my toyota celica, which had a blown head gasket, and no intake whatsoever hah
mercury grand marquis
old impala
newer impala
old mustang auto 4.7 L
and a couple more
in my civic, i dont race my civic bcuz its slow(yeah ive never been passed 110 in it) , id only t-bo it if it was a dohc, though ive owned a t-bo'd crx and it was still slower than the mustang v8 ive had, not a big v8 fan, not to hate on all the 4bangers
by the way i only ask if its rice bcuz i get different opinions like everyday at school

Re: (cln92eg)
ur tbo gsr is prob fast but u prob spent more money on it then me buying a v8 which will smoke ur gsr off the line, i bought my 2000 mustang v8(sold) back couple months ago for $3800 only needed bumpers and headlights, so i bought some shitty headlights for $120 and left the front bumper off bcuz the oem one costs a **** load and im not a fan off body kits that look shitty anyways, so i just bought a ram clutch, exhaust, intake, and superchip from my brother and i blew anything in my way, now im not saying ill beat u but for $4500 u can try getting ur gsr charged and pushing 360 pounds of torque

I completely understand wanting all OEM stuff.
This is my setup:
Prelude SH cd player with the dealership-optional Alpine 6-disc.

For the install, I took my glovebox down, drilled a 3/4" hole with a hole-saw (to run the cable), and then mocked up the bracket locations, and then just bolted it in. Doesn't rattle, doesn't skip, and doesn't interfere with the latch. Reads a lot better than most of the OEM head units too. It ignores imperfections and scratches that my CD player doesn't.
For you, if you're keeping the stock climate control, you can move the radio down to the lower slot and get the CX blockoff plate and dash pocket. I used to run that setup when I had an aftermarket head unit:
The part numbers for that dash cup:
77253-S01-A00ZA - Pocket ASSY., CENTER PANEL (black) - $10.12
And the blockoff plate can be gotten here:
http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/...d=720
$18 + shipping
Once you move it down to the lower console, you no longer have to worry about the shape, and that opens you to TONS of radios/cd players of different colors and design:
94-97 Accords
99-00 Civic
99-00 Civic Si
97-98 Prelude
99-01 Prelude
97-01 CR-V
etc.
