Hey,

I doubt anyone this setup but if you have something similar then post. Can I safetly run a 26mm Mugen rear sway bar on my EH2 if I use the ASR subframe brace?

I would think so, What kind of spring rate are u running? I doubt you will have any problems with subframe tearout. You should be more worried about that *** hang'in out

Ya, I'm worried about subframe tearout. For about 6 months I'll be running Koni/GC with civic spring rates until I can buy a DD and dedicate the hatch to the track and then I'll run something in the 9-11k range.

the brace basically becomes the tiebar
You can for sure run the mugen bar with the asr kit. Asr sells a 32mm bar, afterall.
(I love my asr piece!)

HOO!! That looks badass. I can't wait. What front sway do you have? How does your car handle? Body roll?

Your not going to have any problems with subframe tearing..... the only time i heard of any 92-95 civic subframe breaking is when there in an accident. So dont crash

96-00 break alot.

This is true. I've seen people run the ITR rear sway bar without any reinforcement on 92-95 civics and they don't have any problems. The 96-00 civics are the ones with the weak subframes. And yea that ASR kit is one of the better ones on the market. I met the creator/owner of A-spec, he's a nice guy. Showed me a proto type of the enlinks for his HALLOW rear sway bar, LIGHT AS HELL!

Ordered the brace today. Picking up the sway bar on Friday. I think I'm gonna put it on and see how much I'll loose the rear end before I put the front on a day after.

since my cars an Si , i have a stock 14mm front sway ^_^ you could get them pretty cheap from a junkyard from an EX coupe or SI/EX hatches

to the guy who asked powder coat or paint, i painted it (didn't have much money left over from buying the suspension LOL) some of the paint chipped cause i didn't let it dry and got to impatient so i slapped the bitch on hehe . Car runs like a champ feels like its on rails

ohhh and ive seen plenty of ripped 92-95 subframes on ht , but not as many as the 96+
